(July 29)
What better way to share with others who share the daily battle and frustrations with COPD/Asthma than by passing on some daily words and thoughts that bring hope and renewal, because as we all know – without that horizon of hope, our daily renewal of faith and fight can dim in a hurry.
So take, read, meditate and hopefully find some hope to attach to your faith for today – – – – –
A DAILY THOUGHT, SPIRITUAL WORD & HOPE FOR TODAY!!
THE THOUGHT – from Helen Steiner Rice:
Father, I am well aware
I can’t make it on my own,
So take my hand and hold it tight,
For I cannot walk alone.
THE SPIRITUAL WORD:
“Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me. (Psalms 138:7 NIV)
THE HOPE – on this day we must remember that our battles with illness do not have to be battled alone. Not only can we lean on others, both human and spiritual, to help keep our thoughts, hopes, faith and desires for tomorrow – we must lean on others because without others the battle with our illness and the road trip we call life will have much less meaning and many more regrets.
