What better way to share with others who share the daily battle and frustrations with COPD/Asthma than by passing on some daily words and thoughts that bring hope and renewal, because as we all know – without that horizon of hope, our daily renewal of faith and fight can dim in a hurry.
So take, read, meditate and hopefully find some hope to attach to your faith for today – – – – –
A DAILY THOUGHT, SPIRITUAL WORD & HOPE FOR TODAY!!
THE THOUGHT – from Helen Steiner Rice:
Each time you pick a daffodil
Or gather violets on some hill
Or touch a leaf or see a tree,
It’s all God whispering, “This is Me.”
THE SPIRITUAL WORD:
“Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles and the judgments he pronounced.” (Psalm 105: 5 NIV)
THE HOPE – on this day remember to take the time to enjoy and appreciate the wonders of all of life. Look, smell, feel and hear the trees, grass, critters, birds, sky, sun, breeze and so much more as these are all the handiwork of something so much more caring, loving and powerful than just us. Know that while our illness may seem to give us a limit on the days ahead, also know that we must remember it is up to us to enjoy, care for and protect all the wonders of this life giving gift we call earth, so that not only can we enjoy them for the rest of our days but so others like kids, grandkids and friends may enjoy the same for all of their days as well.
