(August 25)
What better way to share with others who share the daily battle and frustrations with COPD/Asthma than by passing on some daily words and thoughts that bring hope and renewal, because as we all know – without that horizon of hope, our daily renewal of faith and fight can dim in a hurry.
So take, read, meditate and hopefully find some hope to attach to your faith for today – – – – –
A DAILY THOUGHT, SPIRITUAL WORD & HOPE FOR TODAY!!
THE THOUGHT – from Helen Steiner Rice:
You are ushering in another day,
Untouched and freshly new,
So here I come to ask you, God,
If you’ll renew me too.
THE SPIRITUAL WORD:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.” (Psalms 51:10)
THE HOPE – on this day, remember that every day is like a new glob of clay or an empty canvas just waiting to see what we can design and form into for the day ahead. So what happened yesterday, or even the days before that, is all be gone – faded into what we call our past – and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it ever again (except for maybe an apology or two if needed). So treat every morning as if your life is being renewed and realize that you and your choices are what make that renewal happen into whatever the day becomes. (Billy Dursens)
