What better way to share with others by own daily battle and frustrations with COPD/Asthma than by passing on some daily words and thoughts that bring me hope and renewal, because as we all know – without that horizon of hope, our daily renewal of faith and fight can dim in a hurry.

Take, read, meditate and hopefully find some hope to attach to your faith for today – –

The Word – “For we are God’s workmanship, recreated through Christ to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.”  (Ephesians 2:10 NIV)

The Thought – While there will be days that we will feel that we should, we should never, ever doubt ourselves.

For one, we are each and individual handiwork of the Great Spirit, equipped to be the kind of person we should be to stay within the image of the Great Spirit.  Some say, the Great Spirit knew us before we were born, with plans for our adventure we call life and the abilities we have or develop to fulfill it.

Of course, then you get that thing we call free will in which we make and break our life adventures by the choices we make, the paths we follow.

For those who have daily battles with mental illness, emotional stress or a physical disability or illness, making those choices may seem much more difficult.

What we have to do is take the time spent in meditation and after offering our blessings for all that we do have, take the time needed to reflect on and seek what the path or direction is that you must choose to work within the parameters of the abilities.  So that we can fulfill the gifts and abilities that describe our being, our life.

No matter what life or health may throw at you, seek and find what you are, what your abilities provide and follow them in the direction which fulfills their purpose.

No matter what life or health may throw at you, be you – be the you that you are, that you are most comfortable with.  By doing so, you will fulfill the handiwork that the Great Spirit put together and called you, and between you and the Great Spirit your life adventure will be fulfilled with  hope, faith, love and grace.

The Meditation – Great Spirit, we thank you for the gifts of abilities and talents which we have been given.  We continue to look at your direction and listen for the guidance which you can and will offer from within the world around us, so that we can continue the life adventure that comes from being true to who we are and the gifts we are given.  Being true to ourselves, we will also fulfill you, the Great Spirits plan for a life full of daily hope, faith, love and grace.
