SO – I RUBBED THEM WRONG!!
By Mr. William
Now most of the time I seem to be able to keep myself calm and collected when something or someone really eats away at me – and that is a big change from my younger days when I would have a habit of spitting out my thoughts and/or feelings before really thinking things through, and trust me, it cost me many times.
For the past several years I have been trying to keep regular with my blog website called Wheezingaway.com, while also posting things on my COPD/Asthma Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/copdtravels/.
Many folks have shared their appreciation for what I have been writing and sharing, something which means a lot to me.
Whenever I would post something on my website and/or Facebook, I would then share the link on up to 30 other Facebook group pages which deal with COPD, Asthma and Chronic Illnesses. Up to now I have not had a problem with doing that and in the meantime have found a small but hopefully dedicated following on both my own pages.
NOW – Facebook has decided that when I try and post links to my writings on any pages beyond my own that I cannot do more than a couple of link postings at a time, it as they call it spamming (which it is not). They even banned me from posting anything anywhere, and that includes comments on other postings, for a week!!
The whole situation did not make me a happy camper at all.
But a good point of this is this – it puts me in a spot to maybe reinvent how I go about sharing what I am writing. As much as I enjoy postings my links to all of those other pages, maybe it’s time to let folks know if they really want and enjoy reading my writings about COPD, Asthma, being chronically ill or my own battles with COPD/Asthma – then they will just have to learn to follow my pages on Facebook and the website wheezingaway.com!!
So as much as I do not like being able to share, this write today will the final one in which I will attempt to link to those 27-30 other Facebook pages (at least for a several months) that discuss or cover COPD, Asthma and the Chronically Ill.
Posting the link to this write will be done over a few days so that maybe I will not piss off the folks at Facebook for so called spamming my writings and hopefully will not get banned again.
If you want to continue to follow my writings – which include ‘Lenny and Me 4 Today’, ‘Reflections of COPD/Asthma’, ‘The Language of COPD/Asthma’ – as well those other postings I pick up from others doing research in the field of COPD/Asthma……then you will just have to follow me at https://www.facebook.com/copdtravels/ or check out wheezingaway.com!!
What I will continue to do is write and share both about my own battles/struggles with COPD/Asthma as well as getting information out there that will help others in their knowledge of the disease and how they can deal with their own battles in their road of life with a chronic illness.
See you on Facebook and the internet my friends.
And that my friends, is where ‘Lenny’ and Me are 4 today.
As always, if you or anyone you know have any symptoms involving lung and breathing functionality, and they linger over and over while disrupting a lifestyle – then please ask questions and get it checked out.
ALWAYS REMEMBER > A person without good breathing, is a person with a life of constant caution’, so let’s do what we can, to learn what we can, to improve what we can.
With that, I bid to all – smiles, prayers, blessings and steady breathing – Mr. William.
