HEALTH from A to Z – BURSITIS!
Written by William of CrossDove Writers
While I do battle COPD and severe Asthma, I also know that sometimes the wearing down of the human body from fighting one illness can occasionally lead to the rising-up of other health issues beyond the one that is considered chronic. With that in mind, I find it important to be familiar with as many other health issues as possible – with that idea, comes this series.
We writers all seem to be looking for ideas for long-term storylines and with a writer’s love of the alphabet and its challenges, I only figure I should do a series in which we tackle a variety of ‘HEALTH ISSUES from A to Z’.
Last time we talked about ‘Asthma’ – TODAY we will talk about ‘BURSITIS’!!
One of the wonders of our human bodies would have to be the small sacks (called bursae) which contain a fluid called ‘synovial’ and are found in your joints such as the elbow, knee, hip and ankle.
When these small sacks become inflamed or irritated, we develop what is call ‘BURSITIS’.
Having ‘BURSITIS’ in any of your joints can be very painful and depending on the severity of the inflammation can even make doing simple things nearly impossible due to the pain that can come with having ‘BURSITIS’.
While a person can try and solve the inflammation of ‘BURSITIS’ with home remedies such as ice packs, the best solution is to visit the doctor and get the joints causing the issues worked looked at and then worked on properly through some physical therapy, exercises or sometimes just by doing some joint concentrated stretching.
In some cases a person can even try other, non-conventional remedy methods such as acupuncture or even the use of CBD Oil either in a liquid or cream form. While the full studies have not concluded successes using these other non-conventional remedies, they have in many instances proven to supply pain and inflammation relief for those who try them.
Remember that even a brief touch of ‘BURSITIS’ can make anybody’s day very uncomfortable, so as with anything dealing with a health issue that gets in the way of having a normal day – it is recommended you see or talk to your physician and make a game plan as to how best solve the pain of the day.
That in a pinch is a brief talk about ‘BURSITIS’.
BE AWARE – if you or anyone you know have any symptoms similar to our discussion of the day, and they linger over and over to the point of disrupting your daily lifestyle – then please see or talk to your physician and ask questions while being honest about the symptoms, and then make a game plan to clear them up.
With that we bid you Good Day from Mr. William, wheezingaway.com and CrossDove Writers.
