THE OILS OF FISH AND CBD!!
By Mr. William
Now that I have had several days to recover from the anguish of having major trigger problems while taking a short weekend vacation to the Black Hills, I have begun to put my focus on trying to see what I can do to feel better for longer stretches of time.
With that in mind I have taken it upon my regime to add two much talked about oils – CBD and Fish Oil.
Now I have taken fish oil gel-caps in the past but stopped for awhile due to cost and not being sure it was really helping that much.
All fish oil supplements have both the EPA and DHA omega oils, but most only contain a minimal level of DPA omega oil, so I began looking for one that did and found one with Wild Fish Oils.
Now while fish oil doesn’t necessarily help much with my COPD or Asthma, it does hold much importance in taking care of my blood and heart, in particular lowering levels of certain blood fats (triglyceride) while raising levels of the so-called good cholesterol (HDL).
I also have read that some studies have claimed to find an association between higher blood levels of DPA and healthier aging which included a lower risk of heart disease.
So, for the moment I am taking one gel-cap of Fish Oil each and every morning while taking one at nigh with my night meds only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Unfortunately, now whether or not it is helping may not be decided until my next big appointment with my general physician when they take full blood work. I will keep you all posted.
Now when it comes to CBD Oil – I have begun to take four drops in the morning and five drops at night, using a product from Hempworx which has just two ingredients in it, so it is very pure.
The CBD Oil I take does not have any TCH in it, so I am safe from feeling any possible high – though most CBD Oils on the market does not have enough TCH anyway to make a person truly high and that is by rule of law to make using CBD Oil legal.
Why am I trying CBD Oil? Because of studies which show it has anti-inflammatory effects and can help keep the airways relaxed, something that will help during those moments when I have problems with constricted airways.
Other properties which studies have found being helpful with using CBD Oil include its properties for being anti-spasmodic and anti-anxiety, while also helping with coughing and wheezing control and reducing phlegm or helping it stay loose which makes it easier to cough up.
While I tried to start taking the CBD Oil while on my trip to the Black Hills, I stopped for several days until I could get my COPD and Asthma back under control.
Currently, I am on day number eight of taking the CBD Oil both in the morning and evening. What have my results been, you may ask?
One – I am definitely sleeping better and finding myself less apt to have any issues with insomnia. Plus when I do get up during the night or up for good in the morning, I have noticed that my congestion build up is much easier to cough up which in turn helps my morning breathing go much smoother that it has in the past where I almost had to have my nebulizer routine before finding good breathing.
Two – I seem to feel less anxious about several things which normally gets me keyed up instantly, and that is a good thing.
Three – a big improvement has been felt in my energy in the mornings. While I will still drag around and struggle with some breathing issues depending on the whether (I am like a human barometer), normally I don’t feel the need to go grab a morning nap as quickly as I seemed to in the past.
Four – I have not noticed any of those little tremors I was having at times in my hands and legs. Now whether this is from using the CBD Oil I can not say for sure – but I can tell you that I have a granddaughter who was having seizures periodically until she began to take CBD Oil twice a day, since that change she has not had a single seizure!!
So, for now I will continue to take my CBD Oil while I monitor my breathing, sleeping, coughing and more. Periodically I will update what I feel is or is not my progress in using CBD Oil, while for now I will continue to finish up the free sample I received from Hempworx as I decide to purchase a full bottle sometime this week.

Remember, I will see you on the internet and Facebook – especially if you choose to keep up on all my postings that deal with COPD and severe Asthma at wheezingaway.com or https://www.facebook.com/copdtravels/.
And that my friends, is where ‘Lenny’ and Me are 4 today.
As always, if you or anyone you know have any symptoms involving lung and breathing functionality, and they linger over and over while disrupting a lifestyle – then please ask questions and get it checked out.
ALWAYS REMEMBER > A person without good breathing, is a person with a life of constant caution’, so let’s do what we can, to learn what we can, to improve what we can.
With that, I bid to all – smiles, prayers, blessings and steady breathing – Mr. William.
