I strongly believe that laughter is like music for the soul, so each and every day I attempt to start my day with a little help on the smiling thing.
Everyday I start my computer time with the following comics: Zits, Garfield, Pickles, Peanuts, Family Circus, Momma and B.C.
Nearly a guarantee of starting my day with at the minimum a few hearty smiles and more likely a solid few laughs – but it does help my day get started on a smiling side of things than worrying about whether or not my lungs will be a handful for the day.
I encourage everyone to find some humor in each and every day – and hopefully the earlier the better because when the soul is relaxed and full of the music of laughter, the soul does much better at dealing with the rigors of life we face with COPD and/or other illnesses.
Along that path I have to add the following cartoon which I found floating on the internet and gives us all a little chuckle at our future life with COPD – enjoy:
So with that I say, so long – farewell – aloha for now.
As always – if you or anyone you know have any symptoms involving lung and breathing functionality, and they linger over and over while disrupting a lifestyle – then please ask questions and get it checked out.
Remember that without breathing a person is without life itself.
As always I bid to all – smiles, prayers, blessings and steady breathing – Mr. William.
